Welcome to MyIslamicFamily and thank you for taking the time to comment.

The number of Christians that ignore the obvious meaning of Matthew 7:21-23 amazes me. It appears that many are not interested at all in the actual words attributed to Jesus and prefer their own opinions.

Your comments are interesting in terms of the power Christians give to the devil. From the outside looking in, it seems as if your view is that the devil competes equally against God in your theology (ditheism).

You said, We may try our best to be as perfect as Jesus, but will fail(its a given).

I love Jesus, alayhi sallam, and he is among the best of mankind. However, he was not perfect and he does not compare to God in any respect.

You said, It is only through the blood of Jesus that we are saved. Jesus died as the ultimate sacrifice because he loves us. REMEMBER THAT GOD FIRST LOVED US, WE DID NOT LOVE GOD FIRST.

It is unfortunate that, by all appearances, lack the ability to look at your preconceived beliefs with criticism. Your view that only through Jesus' death does mankind have the chance at forgiveness is not supported by the Bible. Moreover, you seem to forget the Jesus, according to the Bible, begs God to not all them to crucify him, a fact that undermines most of your theology.

You said, Also you can not convert someone to one religion or another based on facts. If that happens then that person will not last long. In Christianity it is so easy to go to heaven, that some question whether it is that easy. If you convert to Christianity you would be a huge asset to Christ. May God bless you

Islam teaches faith and facts. God gave us an intellect and He made His religion to adhere to the natural laws He created.

Your assertion that Christianity is easy is nothing more than a false hope established on mythology.

I converted to Islam from Christianity. Witness, I reject the Trinity. I reject the Bible. I reject a divine Jesus. I affirm the fact that there is only one God and the Muhammad, salallahu alayhi wa sallam, is His last and greatest prophet and messenger.

Thank you for taking the time to comment.

The verse is #7 is trying to say that only a few will enter the kingdom of God. Many will try, but fail because the power of the devil will overpower them. We live in the world of the devil because Adam and eve ate the fruit of good and evil; as a result separating us from God. No is perfect but God alone alone. We may try our best to be as perfect as Jesus, but will fail(its a given). It is only through the blood of Jesus that we are saved. Jesus died as the ultimate sacrifice because he loves us.
Asalaamu alaikum,
I am a student at a local university studying Special Education. I can tell you that we are seriously underrepresented in this field. We need more of us entering the special education field and more collaboration and cooperation if we are going to establish a school for our children with special needs. I have a son attending a public charter school with 99.9% Muslim students. Only four of the teachers there are Muslim???

Assalama alekum brother, hope you don't mind me commenting again, but I have been thinking about your situation and I hope you don't mind, but I spoke to Khaled's senior therapist about it. I also remember discussing this with his psychologist a couple of years ago (regarding another family). Anyway.. I am sure since this is a recurring issue you have done your research and considered solutions. But I will just list a few that people have told me:
1) an assessment by an OT to see if it is happening because of a sensory craving (wanting to touch something that feels like poop)
2) Pain. I know families who have said that their child was having physical problems related to food intolerances, and a) had a lot of dirty diapers a day and b) engaged in fecal smearing several times a day. Elimination diets over a long period of time resolved these problems.
3) Behavior assessment. Kids do things sometimes for other reasons and assessing behavior sometimes tells us the function of a behavior. I know one family who were fed up of trying things for years and administered consequences for fecal smearing. These would depend on the child. This family put their daughter in a cold shower (sounds terrible I know) for a few minutes every time she did it. And it eliminated the behavior. I cannot imagine how hard or frustrating it is for families and the children. I really don't know what I would do in a similar situation.

Please forgive me. Your daughter is in my duas inshaAllah.

Oh subhanAllah. May Allah make it easy for your family. We never had such an extreme situation to deal with. It really is a test. You know strict behavioral regimes, although cruel sounding, sometimes work for extreme situations like fecal smearing, because of the problems it causes for the special needs person and everyone around them. Get help brother from a behaviorist. For some things it works.

Thank you for your comment Madeline. I just wanted to point out what may be obvious, a failure of one religion does not render all religions false. Every religion, including atheism, must be examined on its own merits and then accepted and rejected on that basis.

I only point this out because many leading atheists thinkers make generalisation about all religious beliefs because of the "flaws" they found in their own religious background and culture.

In any case, I'm glad you enjoyed my post. I look forward to any future contribution you may make.

Abdullah, Thank you for pointing out these mistakes in Christianity. I personally do not believe in any religions, so therefore I suppose I am Atheist. But I completely respect you for making this article.

With love, Madeline.
